Today, we’re diving into two cool browser-based experiences that reimagine the Windows desktop—right from your web browser.

First up is win11.blueedge.me, a sleek, interactive demo that mimics the look and feel of Windows 11. It’s surprisingly responsive and lets you click through a simulated Start Menu, settings, and even Edge browser—all inside your browser window. It’s a fun way to preview the Windows 11 vibe without installing anything.

Next, check out tjy-gitnub.github.io/win12/desktop.html. This is a concept version of a fictional Windows 12 —complete with a redesigned UI and futuristic elements. Think of it as a fan-made preview of what the future of Windows could look like.

Both projects are open source and built with web technologies, making them great showcases of what’s possible with modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Check them out—and maybe even get inspired to build your own desktop concept in the browser!
